You must be
enrolled in a financial aid eligible program in order to charge tuition and
the Technology Access Fee. Consult with counselors when the eligibility
of a program is in question.

Students must apply for Federal Financial Aid
in order to determine eligibility. Applications can be obtained from the
Student Services Department. For a quicker response, we encourage you to
apply online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov
Please remember to review the application prior to submittal. Also include

The mail-in process of the Free Application
For the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) usually takes 6 to 8 weeks. The
electronic process usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. Because of the length of time
it takes to process your application by mail, we encourage you to submit your
application on-line.

When applying For Federal Financial Aid, be
sure to apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) as well. This
information can be obtained on-line at
www.fafsa.ed.gov.
If you are a dependent student (using your parents tax information to complete
the FAFSA), your parent will need to request a PIN also. Your PIN can be used
to sign your FAFSA electronically and to make corrections, if needed.

After applying and receiving you Student Aid
Report (SAR), you must attend the financial aid workshops to submit your
financial aid paperwork. The financial aid workshop schedule can be obtained
from the Student Services Department. Please attend the workshops on the day
and time designated to the program for which you are enrolling.

Your
financial aid file must be complete before you are eligible to charge tuition
and the Technology Access Fee. The components of a complete file are
listed on the financial aid workshop schedule.

If your are eligible, you will be given a
credit memo authorizing Tennessee Technology Center at Memphis to deduct
tuition from your Federal Pell Grant or WNTSG award. Refusal to sign
the credit memo will deem you ineligible to charge tuition and the
Technology Access Fee.

The student is required to present two forms
of identification (one being a picture ID) in order to obtain the credit memo.

A credit memo must be signed each trimester
you attend and plan to charge tuition and the Technology Access Fee.
