GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Thank you for inquiring about enrollment in our Aircraft Mechanic Program. The airframe and powerplants mechanic full-time program is 18 months in length. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The part-time program meets Monday through Thursday 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Financial assistance is available for all programs such as TN Education Lottery Scholarship, Pell Grant, Veterans Administration Benefits, Memphis Career Center, Vocational Rehabilitation and others. Transportation and living accommodations are the responsibilities of the student. Counselors can make referrals upon request.

In order to process and complete the enrollment application and become qualified for the day or evening aviation program we ask that you do the following:

1.            Go to 550 Alabama Ave. (Admission Office) and schedule a test date.

2.            Report to TTCM at 550 Alabama at your scheduled test time for testing.  Applicants that master the following levels on the KeyTrain Assessment test are considered “qualified” for admission: Level 5 in Reading, Level 4 in Math and Level 4 in Locating Information. Contact Pat Thompson (543-6180) for a review of your test scores and to be added to the waiting list.

3.            Contact your high school or college and have them send a copy of your transcript to:
