Online Courses

Welcome to the Tennessee Technology Center Memphis online courses.  Our mission is to be the premier provider for workforce development throughout Tennessee.  We operate directly under the Tennessee Board of Regents and are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).  TTC-Memphis fulfills its mission by providing: 

  • Competency-based training of the highest quality that will qualify students for employment and /or advancement in jobs.
  • High quality training and retraining of employed workers.
  • High quality training that is economical and accessible to all residents of the metropolitan area, thereby contributing to the economic and community development.

Online learning requires certain skills, behavior, study habits, computer equipment, and discipline in order to be discipline in order to be successful.  Therefore, students enrolled in online courses through RODP/ROCE are encouraged to complete an Online Mastery Test each semester and email the Proof of Completion to all their online instructors using the Desire2Learn email attachment in each class.

Regents Online Degree Program (RODP / ROCE) Information

Online Courses

An outline course is conducted via the Internet with no on-campus instruction and no on-campus classroom time, but may utilize online or proctored testing.  Students access course material online or instructions provided by an instructor.  Courses may be structured so that students work independently or may involve significant interaction among students.  Most courses have set schedules and due dates.

RODP:  Regents Online Degree program

 The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) offers courses statewide through the RODP.  All the institutions are fully accredited.  Courses completed in the Regents Online Degree Program are entirely online and transferable among all the participating institutions.  Students are able to choose the TTC (home school) for their admission, registration, and the award of their diploma or certificate.

ROCE:  Regents Online Continuing Education program

ROCE offers an extensive Continuing Education program in a non-traditional method for adults 18 years of age or older regardless of their educational background.  Continuing Education courses are designed to meet the demanding schedules of the workforce.  We are a provider of training for industry related certified programs. 

Prospective participants for these online courses will be individuals who are interested in acquiring a new skill or improving existing skills for advancement or Continuing
Education Units (CEUs) for certification and/or recertification to maintain credentials in a specified field of study/work.

Through short term training, ROCE offers courses designed to upgrade skills, improve organizations, industries, economic performance and provide personal enrichment courses for persons who wish to obtain knowledge and learn new skills...all available online. ROCE program costs vary by course; fees are non-refundable once program starts.
