 The U.S. Department of Labor has awarded a consortium of training providers – Memphis Bioworks Foundation, Tennessee Technology Center at Memphis, Southwest Tennessee Community College, Lab Four, Seedco, and Workforce Investment Network, a four year $3.7 million grant to deliver high-growth jobs training and job placement assistance for long-term unemployed American workers in specialty fields, such as advanced manufacturing, energy, health care and information technology.
